Saturday Sept 29 2012 Beelair Regional Park

Weather was a bit cold, but a very beautiful 6km walk around a lake surround by Paperbarks. They say this area is a remnant of how much of the Perth Metro area once was. This area is very close where the first settlers set up camp in 1829 for a short period of time.

After our invigorating walk we had breakfast at the Coogee Beach Cafe. Much to Peter's surprise it was an acceptable quality egg and bacon, although the coffee was a tad small in volume.

Next week we go north to a walk through Mindarie sand dunes.
