Peter picked out today, some lame excuse he had to go to Busselton. In reality I think he didn't want to drive the 110km round trip to the northern Perth Beach at Mindarie.
Kathryn came along as a compromise. The weather was beautiful, but there was a very strong wind blowing from the East. The walk was through some Tuart Trees, believed to the almost northern limit of this coastal variety. It was an interesting walk, but a little too sandy for Kathryn. The walk back along the beachfront was very nice and the sand was firmer.
We had breakfast at the Mindarie Marina at a nice place on the Water's edge. Great service and good food. Next week's walk will be a little closer to home if I am not in Kalgoorlie with Allan.
